Let me start this post with THIS:
—
Yeeaaah, it’s EPIC alright! I’ve already watched “Part 2” twice during the weekend and I’ve to say, *hands down* with matching *sobbing* on the side 😥 But of course, we know that GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END and I may not have the same level of “fan-girling” now compared to when I was still in high school (second year, to be exact!), but just like YOU, I’ll definitely miss Harry Potter, his two best friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, and just about everything magical that makes Harry Potter, HARRY POTTER! 😉
FRIDAY
So my epic weekend started last Friday — payday Friday!!! I was with my friends Danielle, Michelle, and Val and the whole Harry Potter venture was a really spontaneous thing! It was actually in the middle of the day when we decided to watch the movie so right after work (from Makati), I went home to get our car (in Manila), and finally drove all the way to the SM Mall of Asia (in Pasay)! Oh diba, sa’n ka pa? Three cities in less than two hours just to see the EPIC FINALE to one EPIC STORY in IMAX!!! 😀 But lo and behold, sold-out na yung IMAX for that entire weekend kaya we had no choice but to settle with a regular cinema! Booo~
SATURDAY
And then come Saturday, I went to four places. In the morning, I went to Edward Teng‘s boutique in Sta. Mesa for a gown fitting. By lunch time, I had to go to school for my three-hour class… and during (and after) that class, an epic kadramahan started…
You see, I’m not the type of person who cries easily (in short, hindi ako cry baby!) that’s why when I cry, well, there’s really something going on! Let’s just say that in the middle of listening to my professor talk about what needs to be done to finish a “thesis proposal,” I suddenly had the urge to walk out of the classroom and just stop finishing my Master’s Degree altogether — of course I didn’t do that! But I swear, I’ve too much pressure as a pressure cooker! AYOKO. NA. TALAGA. Kung pwede lang talaga! Pero hindi, lalaban akooo at tatapusin ko ‘tooo! Arrrgh, whatevs! :S So I went home and I didn’t know what came over me because the next thing I knew, I was lying on my bed and found myself LITERALLY CRYING! With matching unan pa sa mukha ko! Talk about EPIC DRAMA! Huhuhu.
Good thing I had a planned “gimik” for that night! So after deciding that I’ve had enough crying, I went straight to BHS (Bonifacio High Street) to meet up with my college friends! To make the long story short, my good friend Carol had an early birthday celebration and she treated us to dinner! 😀
And what better way is there to de-stress, and at the same time celebrate? VIDEOKE!!! So after dinner, my friends and I went to Centerstage, Jupiter St. and just sang our hearts out! I think calling it a “concert” is even an understatement! Hahaha!

birit DUCHESS’ in the house, yo! 😛

with the videoke kings, Anthony and Emjae! haha!

with Carol, the birthday girl and Danica, the other birit queen! 😉
Overall, it was one heck of a great night! And this great night was a testament that with sadness, comes happiness (or something like that!) Kaya, NO MORE TEARS for me, baby! Who needs a Master’s Degree when you can have a singing career, right?! JOOOKE! 😛 But surprisingly, I think this even served as the highlight of my entire weekend! Kaya Carol, Bebs, Ton, Emjae, and Raisa, I really meant it when I said THANK YOU. *bow* 😀 😀 😀

it’s all good! 😉
SUNDAY
Then on Sunday, Carol and I went to mass around 10AM despite having less than five hours of sleep (I slept over in her house, by the way!) and then ate lunch + drank milk tea! Heehee. After that, we were off to Rockwell to go to the SuperSale Bazaar! I’m so happy that I was finally able to buy a pair of shoes from Suelas, which I discovered through none other than Patty Laurel — one of my favorite bloggers! ♥

I bought a pair of Suelas’ Puntera Lazo! ♥

My favorite blogger Patty Laurel, wearing her very own pair of Suelas shoes! ♥ Visit her blog at http://dapattylaurel.blogspot.com/
After the bazaar, we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (hence, “part 2” for me too! Hahaha! :P) And then after the movie, we went back to the SuperSale Bazaar before finally deciding to have an “early dinner” at Banana Leaf. And after downing my milk tea (na naman!), we finally parted ways and I met up with my sisters and niece at Cibo — and no, hindi na’ko kumain du’n noh! Hindi naman ako masyadong matakaw, you know? Well at least lately, I’ve been trying to go on an EPIC DIET, too! Chos 😛
So that was it — that was my so-called EPIC WEEKEND! 😉 The only downside to having an epic weekend? Well, I’m also EPIC BROKE now!!! HA HA HA
AND another downside is… it makes facing reality a much, much harder thing to do! Kaya heto, inupakan ko na lang ang Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts na bigay sa’kin ng kaibigan kong si Danica. EPIC FAIL for my diet — but attaaack! 😛 Sigh. I guess now that I’m back to reality, all I want to say can be summed up through these words by a fellow WordPress blogger:
“But secretly, I sometimes wish I could go back to my carefree days twelve years ago-back when my biggest worry was finishing Harry Potter before sunrise.” –Cassie Moore 🙂
Plus, it also helps to have a feel-good song! For this one, I’ve to recommend “Next 2 You” by Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber! I don’t know why (I’m NOT a Belieber, okay?) but I’ve been LSS-ing over this for the past week now! Enjoy!
‘Til our next “epic weekend!”
See yah friends!!! 😉
P.S: Today, July 19, 2011, is Carol‘s actual birthday! Having said that, I just want to say,

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🙂
ganda nyo. lalo na ang lips ni carol. ano ba ang misteryong nababalot sa lipstick nya? chos
hahaha! one word: MAC! 😉 i miss you, V! labas tayo ni jo one of these days…
Pingback: Made in the Philippines! :D | Welcome to The Lady's Blog ♥
Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb
usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a
excellent job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera.
Superb Blog!
First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d like
to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind
before writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips?
Appreciate it!
